I was sifting through some music, and landed on Midnight Oil. Then I remembered a trip to Whistler when I was in line for the gondola to get up the hill and it was Australia day, and there are a ton of Australians working at Whistler, and at nine AM on the dot the doors to the bar opened and the Midnight Oil started playing, there was a huge cheer and a sense of joy flooded from the bar and into the whole village. I love seeing those scenes of group joy. I’m never very comfortable being in the midst of them, but I love seeing them.
